The City and the City's Parks and Recreation Commission
are hosting the 16th annual Beach Blanket Movie Night (BBMN)
event at Fletcher Cove Park.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. The evening begins with live music by Jackstraws. BBMN's feature presentation is "Finding Nemo."
BBMN will offers refreshments and a free giveaway with great prizes -- including a Firewire surfboard, beach cruiser bicycle, wetsuits, gift cards and much more. Refreshment tickets will be available inside the park.
Cash only for Food & Refreshments . . . no credit cards.
All proceeds from BBMN will be used to benefit future Solana Beach Parks and Recreation projects or events. So, bring a blanket, pack a picnic or visit a local restaurant for take-out, and head on down to Fletcher Cove Park for a fun-filled evening and a movie under the stars!
We encourage you to arrive CAR FREE.
Fletcher Cove Park is located at 111 South Sierra Avenue, Solana Beach.
Public Health and Safety Guidelines
The City would like to remind people to remain mindful of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and advises everyone to take the necessary precautions if you plan to attend the event. With the recent surge in the Delta Variant, the City highly encourages everyone that plans to attend to follow all current Public Health guidelines and consider wearing a mask, especially if you are unvaccinated (including all children 12 years of age and younger). The City is excited to offer this wonderful event for the community but public health and safety are of utmost concern. Please help us keep the community and your neighbors safe!
