Beach Blanket Movie Night is Back!

BEACH BLANKET MOVIE NIGHT

Saturday, August 28th, 5:00 to 10 PM

The City and the City's Parks and Recreation Commission

are hosting the 16^th annual Beach Blanket Movie Night (BBMN)

event at Fletcher Cove Park.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. The evening begins with live music by Jackstraws. BBMN's feature presentation is "Finding Nemo."

BBMN offers plenty of refreshments (pizza, popcorn, cookies, and brownies) and a free giveaway with great prizes -- including a Firewire surfboard, beach cruiser bicycle, wetsuits, gift cards and much more. Refreshment tickets will be available inside the park.

Cash only for Food & Refreshments . . . no credit cards.

All proceeds from BBMN will be used to benefit future Solana Beach Parks and Recreation projects or events. So, bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and head on down to Fletcher Cove Park for a fun-filled evening and a movies under the stars!

We encourage you to arrive CAR FREE.

Fletcher Cove Park is located at 111 South Sierra Avenue, Solana Beach.

This event is free and open to the public.

The City would like to remind people to remain mindful of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and advises everyone to take the necessary precautions if you plan to attend the event. The public is encouraged to bring low-back beach chairs, ground cover, picnics, and arrive “Car-Free.”

No alcohol, tobacco, pets, or personal BBQ’s allowed during concerts.
