| The Breeders' Cup, one of thoroughbred horseracing's most prestigious international events, has grown into a two-day event attracting the best horses, trainers, and owners from around the globe. For the first time ever, the 2017 Breeders' Cup will run at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend, November 3rd-4th. On Friday, the parking gates will open at 8:30 AM, with the first race starting at 11:25 AM and the last race starting at 4:35 PM. On Saturday, the parking gates will open at 7:30 AM, with the first race starting at 10:10 AM and the last race starting at 5:35 PM. The Breeders' Cup has capped the attendance at 37,500 per day for the two-day event. Expect some traffic delays in the mornings and evenings so please plan accordingly.
