Join the Conversation, Solana Beach!

As we engage residents through our 2026 community conversation around local City service needs and priorities, residents identified the following City service priorities: Keep trash and pollution out of our lagoons, local waterways and off our beaches; Keep parks, beaches, and trails safe, clean, and well-maintained; Keep public restrooms well-maintained and clean; Maintain lifeguards at local beaches; and Upgrade coastal life-saving emergency medical equipment and technology. Let us know what your priorities are for Solana Beach and join the conversation today!

Older Adult Transportation Program

The City's Older Adult Transportation Pilot Program will start booking rides next week! This program provides 65+ residents of Solana Beach free transportation to doctors appointments, the pharmacy, grocery store, community events, the library, and more. All levels of service will be offered, from curb-to-curb, door-to door, to door-thru-door, and must begin and end in Solana Beach. Enroll today to participate in the program and call (858) 923-1344 to schedule a ride at least five days in advance!

5 Years of Clean Energy Alliance

Since launching service 5 years ago, Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) has served customers in several cities across San Diego County, including Solana Beach. Since then, CEA has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than 746,000 metric tons of CO2, committed over $750 million to new renewable energy projects and launched eight customer programs! And, CEA continues to work towards its goal of providing 100% renewable energy by 2035, ahead of the statewide target. See CEA's five-year milestones in their Impact Report.
