Due to COVID-19, the City will not hold our annual Veterans Day ceremony at La Colonia Park this year. Instead, the City and the Solana Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5431 invite everyone to participate virtually in this year’s live ceremony at the Balboa Park Veterans Museum, held on Wednesday, November 11, at 10:00 am. Veterans Day reflects a very special time for our community, and the City recognizes all of our resident veterans and VFW members for their outstanding service. We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to visit our local memorials, at La Colonia Park and in the Solana Beach Plaza, and remember all our veterans who have done so much for our community. We will always appreciate the sacrifices made by them to ensure our freedoms.
