Motorists are advised that Manchester Avenue will be closed at Interstate 5 (I-5) from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., beginning Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26.

The closures are necessary for crews to continue the installation of falsework – temporary wood support structures used to aid the construction of bridges – over Manchester Avenue.

All on- and off-ramps will remain open during the closures. Westbound vehicles on Manchester Avenue will be detoured via northbound I-5 and eastbound vehicles will detoured via southbound I-5. Please see the map below for more detour information. Advance notification and detour signs will be posted on Manchester Avenue and I-5.
