Parking Restrictions: Parking along Highway 101 is not allowed on Sunday, March 31st, from 3:00 AM to 10:30 AM from K St. in Encinitas to Lomas Santa Fe/Plaza St. in Solana Beach, as well as on westbound Plaza St. Cars parked there during those hours will be towed, staring at 3:00 AM.
Road Closure Details:
- Southbound Highway 101 (between Chesterfield Dr. and Lomas Santa Fe/Plaza St.) will be closed from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Southbound lanes will be closed, as runners will be using the southbound lanes.
- Northbound lanes will be open for two-way traffic with a reduced lane and speed section.
- In addition, Plaza St. westbound lanes from Highway 101 to Sierra Ave. will also be closed from 3:00 am to 10:00 am. Eastbound lanes on Plaza will remain open to access Lomas Santa Fe and Highway 101.
- Residents & Businesses (along southbound lanes of Highway 101) and their customers will be able to access their properties, via the following directions:
- From HWY 101, turn west on Dahlia
- Right onto S Sierra Ave
- Right onto Estrella
- Then left or right on Acacia to your business.
