Notice of Availability of a Draft Environmental Impact Report for The Solana 101 Project
SUMMARY:
Notice is hereby given by the City of Solana Beach, Community Development Department, as the lead agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), that the above-named Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) is available for public review and comment. Comments on the DEIR will be received for a 45-day period, commencing on April 19, 2018 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on June 4, 2018, after which a Final EIR will be prepared containing comments and responses to comments that, together with the DEIR, will form the Final EIR. The Final EIR will be used by the Solana Beach City Council in its consideration of approval of the proposed Solana 101 project described below.

PROJECT LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION:
The proposed project is located in the City of Solana Beach in western San Diego County. The 1.95 gross acre (1.79 net acre) project site is located west of Highway 101, the Coastal Rail Trail, and the North County Transit District (NCTD) railroad right-of-way (ROW), north of Dahlia Drive, east of South Sierra Avenue, and south of an existing commercial development (CVS Pharmacy) south of Lomas Santa Fe Drive.

The proposed project is a mixed-use development that includes proposed consisting of commercial office, retail, and restaurant space, two levels of underground parking and 25 residential units.
