City of Solana Beach WEEKLY UPDATE October 8, 2026 |
Congratulations to Victor Magana on Receiving the City Star Award! |
This award recognizes employees who go above and beyond for our community and their coworkers, and Victor does just that. He’s friendly, dependable, and someone everyone truly enjoys working with, so it was no surprise how excited staff were to see him receive this recognition!
As part of our Public Works team, Victor helps keep Solana Beach clean and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. At the City’s 40th Anniversary Concert on the Beach, he was the primary Public Works staff member handling setup, sanitation, maintenance, and cleanup. His hard work and positive attitude before, during, and after the celebration earned praise from department leaders and helped make the event a success.
“He is a true team player and takes pride in serving this community,” said Marine Safety Captain Greg Uruburu as he presented Victor with the award at today’s Citywide Staff Meeting.
Victor, thank you for all the work you do, including the work people may never see, and for making our workplace a little brighter along the way. We appreciate your dedication to our City and are so happy to celebrate you! |
