During a recent utility project, underground fiber-optic lines were installed along Lomas Santa Fe and Plaza Street. As part of this project, some temporary asphalt patches were installed near the Lomas Santa Fe/Highway 101 intersection. This Thursday, October 29, from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight), the contractor will be repairing the trenches used to install the fiber optic lines.
Traffic control will be set up starting at 6:00 pm on Thursday. The repairs will involve the following areas:
- Crossing the entire width of Highway 101, just north of Lomas Santa Fe;
- Crossing the entire width of Lomas Santa Fe, just east of Highway 101;
- Crossing the entire width of Plaza Street, on the west side of Highway 101 near Acacia Street.
All sidewalks and one lane of traffic will be provided in each direction during the work, but delays should be expected. Please pay extra attention and follow all traffic control signs when driving or walking through the work zone.
