Announcing the Solana Beach 4th Annual “Día de Los Muertos” – Day of the Dead – Community event on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at La Colonia Park, 715 Valley Avenue. This alcohol-free community event will offer many exciting cultural opportunities for the whole family.
Highlighting the entertainment stage schedule will be the festive sounds of Banda, Creepxotica, Bulevar Descarga and SantanaWays. There will be traditional and colorful Mexican and Indigenous heritage performances that will be sure to inspire cultural appreciation of America Moreno/Latin America.
Fun activities for the whole family will include Piñata’s for kids, a Scavenger Hunt, a Catrin/Catrina costume contest, oldies car show, a dance exhibition, and kid’s games.
Delicious and authentic Mexican and American food & beverages will be available.
Join the City of Solana Beach and the La Colonia de Eden Gardens Foundation in celebrating Día de Los Muertos while enjoying authentic Mexican food and family entertainment!

Parking and shuttle service will be available from the Solana Beach Corporate Center located on Stevens Avenue between Academy Drive and San Rodolfo Drive.

Seating is limited. Please bring your picnic chairs and blankets. Canopies and umbrellas are prohibited.
