The City of Solana Beach's new City Hall exhibition will be featuring Lea Zaglin's first solo photography exhibit, "The Island." The exhibition is displayed from February 17th through March 31st.
Lea Zaglin was born in 1992, and raised on the small island of Vashon, Washington to which she recently moved back to. She is a recent graduate of California College of the Arts in Oakland, with a B.F.A. in photography. Through both medium format film and digital photography, Lea works with portraiture and landscapes to create images where the veil between reality and the dream state is permeable. She has exhibited work at the College Avenue Gallery, Oakland Museum of California and Oliver Arts Center in Oakland, CA. Lea currently works as a Freelance Retoucher for Annabelle Breakey Photography in San Francisco.
