Traffic Advisory: San Diego Half Marathon Sunday, April 22, 2018 Please be advised that Via de la Valle from Highway 101 to Valley Ave will be closed to eastbound traffic from 6:30 am to 8:30 am on Sunday, April 22, 2018, due to the "San Diego Half Marathon." Left turn moves from southbound HWY 101, Cedros, Solana Circle, Del Mar Downs to eastbound Via de la Valle will be closed, and parking on both sides of Via de la Valle will be eliminated; one westbound lane will remain open during the event. The organizers will accommodate all emergency vehicles during the event; however, normal traffic should respect all traffic detour notifications and traffic control signs which will be in place in and around the vicinity of the race course. All roads will be fully opened to normal traffic around 8:30 am the same day. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Engineering Department at (858) 720-2470. Community Advisory Tour de Cure - Saturday, April 14th There are no anticipated significant impacts to the community and no road closures. The "Tour de Cure" brings together cyclists who are showing their support and raising funds for the 30 million people living in the United States who live with diabetes.   On Saturday, April 14th, starting at 6:00 am, cyclists will be leaving the Del Mar Fairgrounds from the Solana Gate. There will be an officer on duty to help them make a left turn out of the Fairgrounds. They will make their way to Solana Beach via Northbound Highway 101, then via Southbound Highway 101, with the final riders passing through around 4:00 pm.   There are no anticipated significant impacts to the community and no road closures. Anticipated Partial CRT Closure Dates

NCTD will be performing maintenance work

Partial Coastal Rail Trail (CRT) Closure Dates The North County Transit District will be performing maintenance work to repair the slopes on both sides of the railroad tracks in the area of the Solana Beach Train Station. The work will start approximately 350 feet south of Lomas Santa Fe Drive and extend north to the Cliff Street Pedestrian Bridge. The slope maintenance and repair work will result in temporary closures of portions of the CRT. Listed below are the dates that work is expected to impact access to the CRT. On these days, only portions of the CRT will be closed around the vicinity of the work being performed.
