Kick Off the Holiday Season This Sunday at the Fletcher Cove Holiday Tree Lighting!

The holiday spirit is in the air, and Solana Beach is ready to celebrate! Get ready to kick off this holiday season this Sunday with the City's longest holiday tradition at the Annual Fletcher Cove Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. The spectacular 30-foot Holiday Tree has been officially installed and is ready to shine. Framed by the magnificent view of the ocean, Fletcher Cove Park provides the perfect backdrop for this special gathering, which beautifully captures the unique small beach-town charm of Solana Beach.

So please join us this Sunday, December 8th, at 4:30 PM to celebrate the holiday season with live music, delicious cookies, cider, and treats. Once the tree's light switch is flipped, all eyes will turn to watch for Santa's arrival by fire-truck escort! Children will have the chance to ask Santa for that most important gift and to remind him just how good they've been all year. It’s a magical evening for the whole family to start the season together. We can’t wait to see you there!

Fortunately, homeowners can take steps to protect against theft during the holidays after UPS, FedEx and Amazon drop off packages when no one is home. Here are a few tips that can help protect your packages and keep your homes safe during this Holiday season.
