As you are probably aware, the City recently launched the Solana Energy Alliance (SEA) giving you the opportunity to choose your energy provider. If you have not opted out, you are now a member of SEA. However, SDG&E will continue to provide gas and electric transmission and distribution services for all SEA customers, therefore, you will continue to receive your electric bill from SDG&E as before, with slight modifications to reflect your new energy provider.

The attached document will help you better understand your new bill and allows you to compare your rates to what you would have paid if you had remained with SDG&E. This may also help with any confusion regarding the higher charges you might be seeing on your bill lately, experienced by both SDG&E customers and SEA customers. This is due to the annual switch to summer rates as well as unusually hot summer days.

As a reminder, here are the Joint Rate Comparisons mutually agreed to and approved by both SDG&E and SEA.

As always, if you have any questions about your bill or SEA, please do not hesitate to call our dedicated customer service center at (858) 720-4422.
