Solana Beach Celebrates "Dia de los Muertos" in Style at La Colonia Park!
Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 10:00am to 5:00pm,
La Colonia Park, 715 Valley Avenue
Highlighting the entertainment stage schedule will be the festive sounds of Mariachi Juvenil de Montgomery High School, followed by Ballet Folklorico dance groups, SantanaWays and the Calphonics. These traditional and colorful Mexican and Indigenous heritage performances will be sure to inspire cultural appreciation of Latin America.
The 3rd Annual "Dia de los Muertos" - Day of the Dead - Community event will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 10:00am to 5:00pm, at La Colonia Park, 715 Valley Avenue. This alcohol-free community event will offer many exciting cultural opportunities for the whole family.

Fun activities for the whole family will include: A Catrin/Catrina costume contest; commemorative T-shirts for sale, oldies car show; free face painting provided by MiraCosta College and kid's games. Free mammograms will be provided by Community Health Imaging Centers Mobile Mammogram Coach based on income guidelines.
 
Authentic Mexican and American food & beverages will be available.
 
Come join the City of Solana Beach and the La Colonia de Eden Gardens Foundation in celebrating Dia de los Muertos while enjoying authentic Mexican food and family entertainment!

Parking and shuttle service will be available from the Solana Beach Corporate Center located on Stevens Avenue between Academy Drive and San Rodolfo Drive.

Seating is limited. Please bring your own picnic chairs and blankets. Canopies are prohibited.
