Beach Blanket Movie Night This Saturday!


Beach Blanket Movie Night
This Saturday

Saturday, August 24th, 5:00 to 10:00 pm

The City of Solana Beach's Parks and Recreation Commission
is hosting the 15th annual Beach Blanket Movie Night event
at Fletcher Cove Park this Saturday.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. The evening begins with live music by Rockademy. BBMN's feature presentation is "Surf's Up."

BBMN offers plenty of refreshments (pizza, popcorn, cookies, and brownies) and a silent auction with big-ticket prizes -- including a Firewire surfboard, beach cruiser bicycle, wetsuits, gift baskets and much more. Refreshment tickets will be available inside the park.

Cash or checks only for Silent Auction & Refreshments . . . no credit cards.

All proceeds from BBMN will be used to benefit future Solana Beach Parks and Recreation projects or events. So, bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and head on down to Fletcher Cove Park this Saturday for a fun-filled evening of movies under the stars!

We encourage you to arrive CAR FREE. 

Fletcher Cove Park is located at 111 South Sierra Avenue, Solana Beach.
This event is free and open to the public. 
The public is encouraged to bring low-back beach chairs, ground cover, and picnics . . . and arrive "Car-Free." No alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, pets, or personal BBQ's allowed during concerts.

Summer “Concerts at the Cove” CONCLUDES this Thursday night

Summer “Concerts at the Cove” CONCLUDES this Thursday night, August 22nd, 6pm-7:45pm, with Sully performing!
SULLY is a group of Grammy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated musicians that play a very unique brand of original music. They are at the intersection of R&B and Funk on the corner of Soul and Reggae. SULLY began his music career at the age of 9 at his first paying gig and securing his first recording contract at age 19 with Island Records. Since that time, music has been a central theme in his life.

In addition to being a working-musician, Sully is also a nationally syndicated radio/television talk-host. His shows broadcast weekdays via radio on Clearchannel Media Affiliates, CBS Radio Affiliates, BizTalk Radio Network, and Armed Forces Radionetwork in 175 countries and all the ships at sea and simulcast on network television in over 65 million broadcast homes daily and is heard weekday afternoons on NEWSRADIO AM600 KOGO heard from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
This event is free and open to the public.
